The government has ordered the closure of all public and private schools on Monday next week, citing the ongoing teachers’ strike.<br /><br />A statement from the Ministry of Education pointed out that it is no longer necessary to have schools opened because no learning is taking place, in public schools.<br /><br />This directive, however, does not affect schools that do not teach the 8-4-4 system.
